After the summer break of drifting in our region, Adria Drift Series came to Serbia for Round 4. City of Mladenovac was introduced to drifting for the very first time and crowds were surely amazed by it and welcomed the fastest growing motorsport discipline with amazing atmosphere.

The track itself was sure one of the smallest, but clipping point setup made the track a little bit tricky and technical, with still enough speed to carry through to inject crowds with adrenalin dose.

Free Practice sessions started in two groups, all together 20 drivers. Only 14 of them made it through the qualifications and we had two lucky winners, number one qualified Sava Vidaković with his Nissan S14A Silvia and championship leader Uroš Berdajs in his BMW E36 Compact.

Getting into GREAT8 battles, their luck was gone very quickly as Vidaković couldn’t catchup with Bulgarian driver Silvio Gotsev, who had some issues with his drivetrain in qualifications and Uroš Berdajs spun-out against rookie and very talented Miloš Djordjević. Miloš was showing his talent all the way to the finals, where he went against Matjaž Podboršek, who won against Gotsev in the FINAL4. Battle for first was tight, both drivers driving on the limit and then Podoboršek made a crucial mistake and spun-out.

Miloš Djordjević took his first victory in his career on his very first race in Adria Drift Series, Matjaž Podboršek finished second, Silvio Gotsev performed better then Nebojša Petošević and secured third position. There is no need to explain why Djordjević won rookie of the race award and Avto magazine moment of the race went into Gotsevs hands.
