Adria Drift Series 2016 Season

After a very successful pilot season, the Adria Drift Series is returning to the Balkan’s asphalt with a few minor improvements. The racers welcomed the pre-, mid- and afterseason  testing.

There are expected quite a few “domestic” newcomers and also from Austria and Italy. Many eyes will be definitely turning towards Dražen Pavičić with his more than 600 hp BMW E30. Also his son, Karlo, who was very competitive in the previous  season tuned his BMW E46 even more and might interfere in the battle for the title. And the battle will certainly be tough and demanding. Uroš Berdajs, last year’s winner of the championship, will certainly not quit and Ivo Znaor, last year’s vice champion is probably even more motivated. Jure Poljak might surprise with his new car and we’ve already seen how dangerous Klemens Kauderer can be. As long as Toyota works as it should. We must not forget Dario Foler and Goran Simić. Furthermore the Houtundji brothers, certainly the most attractive drifters of previous season, announced their presence al at least one race.

This year, the adrenaline experience begins in Zagreb on 24.4. with RD1 - THE KICK OFF and continues  on 29.5. in Krško with RD2 - THROWDOWN. RD3 - THE ARENA is scheduled for 26.06. and will took place in Split’s Arena. The location and the ambience will certainly make this race the most interesting event of the season. In addition, the date (end of June) calls for organizing the vacation in the Central Dalmatia around that date.  After the vacation and midseason testings in July, the caravan moves to Belgrade, where RD4 – METRO CITY will be held on 4.9. A spectacular finale under the name RD5 - THE TERMINAL will be held on 2. 10. in Ljubljana.
