Drey Nitrous has stepped down from his GM position.

The face of the Series, one of its co-founders and the main creative force of the team, Drey Nitrous, has stepped down from his position as a general manager of the series.

He stated:
“It’s official, with a heavy heart I’m announcing that I will no longer be a part of the Adria Drift Series management. With mixed emotions I’m looking back into this past couple of years across 4 countries, 12 venues and 20 competition events and I can only say what a journey it has been!

We have established not just an awesome drift series, but a brand as well, and put it on the map of European drifting. I’m happy and thankful that I was a part of it. The Series helped me grow as a person, inspired me to chase my goals and dreams and opened the doors to new business opportunities. But now the time has come to say goodbye, move on and focus on other priorities.

I would like to thank all the Adria Drift Series fans, all the competitors, sponsors, partners and last but not least the amazing Adria Drift Series crew. Thank you for your support and help in making this journey an awesome one. Keep on bringing the noise!

I’m thankful to the new/old Adria Drift Series management for continuing this amazing series and wish them all the best and a lot of success in the upcoming seasons. For sure we’ll still be seeing us on the black top, looking forward to amazing things that are about to come for the series and to the future events!”

Adria Drift Series is deeply grateful to Drey Nitrous for all the blood, sweat and tears he has poured into this project over the years and we wish him the best of luck with all of his endeavours.

Drey will not stray far away from the Series, though. The cooperation between his racing team, 32nd Drift Squadron, and the Series will continue. So don’t worry, Drey is definitely staying in drifting, and you’ll still be able to see him at our events.

The driving force behind Adria Drift Series from now on, are Dejan Hercigonja and Klemen Grilc, both of whom have already been active in the Series’ management - Dejan is one of the co-founders, while Klemen joined the team before the 2019 season.
