The stewards’ statement after RD2 THROWDOWN

Adria Drift Series Stewards have investigated the events taking place on the RD2 THROWDOWN - Raceland, Krško [SLO] May 29. Due to those events, the stewards have decided to penalize the drivers of the cars #95 and #20:

Adria Drift Series Stewards have investigated the events taking place after the final twin battle in the paddock. Due to those events, the stewards have decided to penalize the driver of the car #95: “The driver of the car #95 violated  provision of article 26. of The Adria Drift Series Rulebook. Not obeying speed limits in the paddock, reckless driving and behavior, endangering other competitors, mechanics and Adria Drift Series officials. Due to provision 29. of The Adria Drift Series Rulebook the driver of the car #95 has been given a maximum financial penalty, 50 points subtraction from standings and the highest level of warning.”

Stewards have also investigated the driver of the car #20 for not obeying the track signalization provided by article 26. of The Adria Drift Series Rulebook and unsportsmanlike behavior: “The driver of the car #20 did not obey the track signalization from ​the ​track marshals, continue​d​ ​driving without reduced speed ​and ​ ​therefore endangered Adria Drift Series track marshals, himself and other drivers. Driver was also behaving inappropriately by showing unappropriated hand gestures towards the Adria Drift Series personal. Due to provision 29. of The Adria Drift Series Rulebook the driver of the car #20 has been given the highest level of warning.”
